First, announced at the CES 2023, Acer Predator has finally launched in India. The Predator Helios 18 laptop and the Predator X45 and X27U gaming monitors are all part of the company’s Predator range of gaming laptops and monitors.
The 2023 models of Acer Predator 16 will feature Intel’s latest 13th gen processors and RTX 40 series laptop GPU up to RTX 4080. As of now you can only buy it from Acer’s official store and some of them are available and some are in pre-order.

Acer Predator 16 specifications
As for the specifications, the laptop will have either Intel i9-13700HX or Intel i9-13900HX. The Acer Predator Helios 16 laptop has a 16-inch LCD display with a 16:10 aspect ratio and a WQXGA resolution of 2560 x 1600 pixels, a peak brightness of 500 nits, and a screen refresh rate of up to 240Hz.
It is powered by NVIDIA GeForce RTX 4080 with 12GB of dedicated GDDR6 VRAM, up to 2 x 16GB of dual-channel DDR5 SDRAM, and 1TB of PCIe Gen4 storage. It will also support Advanced Optimus which will let you switch to the dedicated GPU when gaming.
As it is powered by Nvidia’s Ada Lovelace architecture, it will have ray-tracing capabilities and support for DLSS3.
For the keyboard, the Predator Helio 16 will have a configurable per-key RGB backlit keyboard with Mini LED backlights, which will deliver more uniform colour and less halo than non-Mini LED counterparts.
The laptop also includes PredatorSense software, which allows you to personalise the backlighting. Users can customise the RGB lighting for a specific theme, manage overclocking, max out fan speeds, and choose from four modes: Quiet, Balanced, Performance, and Turbo, or Balanced and ECO when running solely on battery power.
Corning Gorilla Glass protection, a moisture-resistant coating, two-finger scroll support, pinch support, and gestures to open Cortana are among the features of the touchpad. The Acer Predator Helios 16’s battery is a four-cell 90 Whr Li-ion battery with support for a 330W power adaptor.
In terms of audio, the laptop includes DTS X:Ultra Audio, Windows Spatial Sound support for PC gaming, immersive audio rendering over headphones and internal speakers, and Acer Purified. The laptop also includes an FHD camera with blue glass and a resolution of 1920 x 1080. It has Killer Ethernet E2600, Killer Wireless Wi-Fi 6E 1675i, and Bluetooth 5.2 for connectivity.
Available variants in India (as of April 2023)
The Acer Predator 16 will start at ₹1,99,999 for the 13700HX processor model with RTX 4070 laptop GPU and other variants with i9 processor and RTX 4080 GPU.

The official landing page for Predator 16 lists displays up to 100% DCI-P3 miniLED but those variants might launch later in the year in India.
