OnePlus 10 Pro is coming soon after making its debut in China with LTPO Snapdragon 8 Gen and LTPO 2.0 display

OnePlus 10 Pro is in line to succeed OnePlus 9 Pro with improved processor power, better camera and even better display.

The OnePlus 9 Pro launched last year in the first quarter and now the OnePlus 10 Pro is making its debut with improved specifications.

OnePlus 10 Pro will be powered by the Snapdragon 8 Gen 1 platform which Qualcomm positions as their most advanced 5G platform ever.

Camera

In the camera department, the OnePlus 10 Pro has continued its partnership with Hasselblad to provide a great camera experience. One Plus 10 Pro will feature a triple camera setup for the rear and a single lens for the front camera.

OnePlus 10 Pro will have the 48 MP Sony IMX789 sensor as its primary sensor with an f/1.8 lens. This will have OIS and Electronic Stabilisation Support.

The secondary sensor is the newer 50 MP Samsung ISOCELL JN1 with an f/2.2 lens (ultra-wide). The third one will have an 8 MP telephoto shooter with 3.3x optical zoom and OIS support.

For the front, it will have a 32 MP Sony IMX 615 sensor with an f/2.4 lens.

With this kind of camera setup, the OnePlus 10 Pro will definitely perform well in the camera segment.

Display

OnePlus 10 Pro will feature a huge 6.7-inch QHD+ (1440×3216) curved AMOLED display with a 20.1:9 aspect ratio and will deliver a peak brightness of 1300 nits.

It will also feature an LTPO 2.0 display which lets the screen adapt to any refresh rate ranging from 1 Hz to 120 Hz giving a super-smooth viewing experience.

Battery, Cooling and other features

Apart from these, the OnePlus 10 Pro will have a 5000 mAh battery with 80W fast charging which is the fastest from the brand.

To tackle the overheating issues, the OnePlus 10 Pro will come with an improved cooling system, which the brand claims to be 55% the size of an A4 paper sheet.

It will also have a feature called Hyperboost which will allow improving the performance through “overclocking”, which is simply a means to lock all the cores at the maximum frequency.

Indian landing page shows that sale will go live in Spring this year

Although the OnePlus 10 Pro has debuted in China with a price tag of CNY 4699 ($737), the global launch is slated to be in Spring this year.

The Indian landing page shows the phone to start its sale this spring. The price can be expected around INR 55000 to INR 58000 in India for the base price.
