At IFA 2024, Honor introduced two exciting devices: Honor Magic V3 and Honor MagicPad 2. Honor Magic V3 is a foldable phone with a lot of interesting features and the Honor MagicPad 2 is a great value tablet going against the Apple iPad at half the price.

Design

The Honor Magic V3 is one of the world’s thinnest foldable, measuring 9.2mm folded and just 4.35mm unfolded. Weighing 226g, it offers an impressive balance between lightweight and premium design. Its dimensions are 156.6×145.3mm unfolded and 156.6×74mm folded.

The recently launched Samsung Galaxy Z Fold 6 is 5.6mm when unfolded and it is also slightly heavier at 236g.

It features IPX8 water resistance, meaning it’s safe from water exposure, although it is not officially dust-proof.

Display

It features a 7.92-inch OLED main display with a resolution of 2156×2344 pixels, a 120Hz refresh rate, and 1600 nits brightness. The phone’s display is protected by Honor Anti-scratch NanoCrystal Shield and supports stylus input.

The cover display is a 6.43-inch OLED panel with a 1060×2376 pixel resolution and 5000 nits brightness.
