Pixel 7a is finally here

Google’s large language model PaLM 2

Pichai announced the four PaLM 2 models.

Gecko is a lightweight model that can also work on mobile devices and even works offline. It is strong in logic and reasoning and it is also trained on multi-lingual texts with support in over 100 languages.

Google Cloud

New capabilities, including a new machine learning platform, were added to Google Cloud. The creation and deployment of machine learning models will be made simpler for developers by the new machine learning platform. Additionally, Google Cloud has updated its developer tools, including a new API for controlling Kubernetes clusters.

Google Wallet is a new digital wallet that will replace Google Pay. It will allow users to store their credit cards, debit cards, loyalty cards, and other payment methods in one place. Google Wallet will be available in 2023.

Google Maps was updated with new features, including live traffic updates and augmented reality navigation. Live traffic updates will show users real-time traffic conditions on the map. Augmented reality navigation will allow users to see directions overlaid in the real world through their phone’s camera.

Google Search

Google Search was updated with new features, including the ability to search for images and videos in 3D. Users can now search for 3D models of objects, such as cars, animals, and buildings. They can also view 360-degree photos and videos.

Google Assistant

Google Assistant was updated with new features, including the ability to translate languages in real-time. Users can now ask Google Assistant to translate a conversation in real-time. Google Assistant can also translate text and audio.
