Along side AI products and Pixel phones. Google also unveiled the long-awaited Pixel Tablet at its annual I/O developer conference. First teased last year, Pixel Tablet brings Google’s signature design and performance to the tablet segment.

Display and Design
The Pixel Tablet is equipped with a 10.95-inch LCD screen, with the resolution of 2560×1600 and 500 nits of typical brightness. Additionally, it features an “anti-smudge coating”.
It also supports USI 2.0 styluses, perfect for digital artists and note-takers.
The overall design of the tablet looks minimal and sturdy. But the bezels are bit on thicker side.
The device offers an immersive audio experience with four speakers and three microphones. It will be available in three colours: Porcelain, Hazel, and Rose.
Processor and Storage
Under the hood, the Pixel Tablet runs on Google’s Tensor G2 chipset, the same powerhouse found in the recently launched Pixel 7 series, Pixel Fold and Pixel 7a. Also incorporates the Titan M2 security co-processor, ensuring robust data protection.
Additionally, the device comes with 8GB of LPDDR5 RAM and is available in two storage variants: 128GB and 256GB of UFS 3.1 storage.
The tablet includes an 8MP fixed-focus camera on both the front and the back for photography and video calls,. It also features a fingerprint sensor embedded in the power button for secure and quick access.
The Google Pixel Tablet houses a 27-watt-hour battery. Google claims tablet can last “up to 12 hours of video streaming,” making it a solid choice for entertainment and productivity.
It runs Android 13 out of the box and is scheduled to receive five years of updates, ensuring it stays current with the latest features and security enhancements.
Pixel Tablet’s Charging Speaker Dock
The Pixel Tablet comes bundled with a charging speaker dock and a power brick for the dock. The dock features a magnetic docking interface with pogo pins and supports a maximum charging rate of 15W. It houses a 43.5mm full-range speaker.
The charging speaker dock allows the tablet to serve as a smart display or a smart speaker with a display when not in active use, offering added versatility to tablet. Moreover, you can cast content to it, making it ideal for hands-free entertainment in different settings, such as the kitchen.
Pixel Tablet Availability and Pricing
The Google Pixel Tablet is priced as follows
- US market: 128GB – $499.
- UK: £599
- Germany: €679
The phone is already available for Pre-orders on Google store and will start shipping from June 20.
As of now Google Pixel Fold will only be available in markets of US, Canada, UK, Germany, France, Sweden, Denmark, Norway, the Netherlands, Japan, and Australia.
Google is also selling a Pixel Tablet Case for $79 (£89, €99).
