There are numerous speculations as to what devices Apple will be launching.

Let’s look at devices which may launch, starting with most probability of launching.

  • iPhone SE – Apple may announce a 2022 version of their low-cost phone – iPhone SE. The third generation of iPhone SE will not see any changes in design department. But will arrive with 5G, a faster A15 CPU chip, and better cameras. This also means the new SE may retain the Touch ID feature.
  • 2022 iPad Air – Similarly, Apple will also launch the updated iPad Air in the event. Again the design of the new iPad Air will be same to its previous version. But it, too, will get a faster chip (A15) and 5G connectivity. It could also be updated with a new FaceTime camera that supports Center Stage, just like in current MacBook and iPad Pro. The feature that keeps you in frame even as you move around the room.
  • New Mac mini – As, for in Mac department. The Apple may launch a redesigned Mac Mini with M1 Chips, (M1Pro and M1 Max)
  • 13 – inch Mac Pro with M2 Chip—alright, this one is least expected, but Apple might surprise us all new Mac Pro with M2 chip. The design of the laptop will be same, but the internals will be updated with next version of M1 chip M2.
    • The M2 chip – will feature the same 8-core CPU as the ‌M1‌, but speed and efficiency improvements will be there, along with the GPU improvements. Rumors also suggest the ‌M2‌ chip will be available in 9 and 10-core GPU options, up from the 7 and 8-core GPU options available with the original ‌M1‌ chip.

With all that said, there can be an additional sneak peek from Apple about their upcoming AR-VR headsets. This is because the Apple logo and invite video shared by the Apple resembles some kind of dreamy AR-VR effect. But that’s just a speculation.

The event name “Peak Performance” – points to the direction of iPhone SE as best performance of A15 chip in the smallest iPhone.
