Biggest and most anticiapted games of december 2022

It is the last month of this gaming year and we have seen some great games this year. From Elden Ring to an indie title Cult of Lamb, 2022 has been a great year for gaming. Well, before celebrating the 2022 gaming year, we have one month left.

December also has some games that we are looking forward to. November did not see a lot of big games released but God of War: Ragnarok and Miles Morales were hit. some smaller indie titles also have some popularity with a niche audience.

November is over and December has some games that you would want to play. Here are some of the most anticipated games of December 2022.

Callisto Protocol

People have been waiting for this game for quite a while now. It is dubbed as the spiritual successor of the Dead Space and is also being directed by Glenn Schofield, the original director of Dead Space.

Callisto Protocol is developed by Striking Distance Studio and will be one of the first games to be made on Unreal Engine 5. It will be a third-person horror survival game with breathtaking visuals and sound design.

Callisto Protocol will undoubtedly look gorgeous but will it emerge as one of the best games of 2022? There is a lot riding on this game and it releases on December 2 on PC, PS5, PS4, Xbox One and Xbox Series S|X.

Marvel’s Midnight Suns

Modern Marvel games started with Avengers in 2020 but it was a disaster and not many people enjoyed that game. Their next game was Guardians of the Galaxy which was a big hit of the year.

Marvel is planning a lot more games for the future like Wolverine and recently announced 3 games deal with EA.

Marvel’s Midnight Suns will be a tactical role-playing game that is being developed by Firaxis Games in collaboration with Marvel Games. It will feature comic book characters from multiple Marvel Comics properties, such as Midnight Sons, Avengers, X-Men, and Runaways.

It will be a turn-based tactic RPG game which will be very different from the likes of Sony’s Spiderman Remastered. Nevertheless, tactical RPG is a very popular genre and if done right, Marvel can bag another hit.

Marvel’s Midnight Suns releases on December 3 for PC, PS5, PS4, Xbox One, Xbox Series S|X and Switch.

Need for Speed Unbound

It’s been quite a while since we had a Need for Speed game. NFS Unbound is the next instalment in the Need for Speed Unbound. There is a lot of hope on this one since many of the last games didn’t do much for the franchise.

Need for Speed Unbound will be set in a fictional city called Lakeshore City, which is based on Chicago. Like previous entries, it will feature an open-world environment and will mainly focus on street racing.

The “heat system” from Need for Speed Heat will return in Unbound, where the player attempts to gain notoriety among the police. Additionally, similar to previous entries, the game will feature various forms of customization such as installing various body kits, adding a splitter, or even completely removing the front or rear bumpers.

NFS Unbound will be developed by Criterion games (2012 NFS Most Wanted and Hot Pursuit) and will be released on December 2 for PS, PS5 and Xbox Series S|X.

Wavetale

Developed by Thunderful Development, it is a platformer action-adventure game which mainly takes place around and in the sea around a mysterious, submerged city. Thunderful Development has made some good adventure games in the past.

The game looks absolutely beautiful and the gameplay looks smooth. The game is for people who enjoy calm, adventure games for unwinding after a long day. You have to unravel the past mystery, save the islanders from mysterious sea monsters and discover secrets hidden under the surface.

Wavetale releases on December 12 for PC, PS5, PS4, Xbox One, Xbox Series S|X and Switch.

Do you want your guns to talk? Well, here it is. Featuring voices of Ricky and Morty, High of Life is a comedic biopunk first-person shooter game by Squanch Games.

Made by Justin Roiland, it takes place in a science-fiction world and features talking guns.

Taking place in the future, humanity has been taken by an alien cartel to be used as drugs. Playing as a bounty hunter, the player must navigate throughout the galaxy to save the humans by using weapons called Galatians, used to take out the threats.

The game looks like a lot of fun and releases on December 13 for PC, Xbox One and Series S|X. It will also be available on Xbox Gamepass.

Hello Neighbour 2

After the success of Hello Neighbour, developed jointly by tinyBuild, Dynamic Pixels and Eerie Guest Studios, it was a matter of time before it got a sequel.

Hello Neighbor 2 is a stealth horror game about digging up your creepy neighbour’s secrets. But there’s a twist: the Neighbor is controlled by an AI that learns from the players! As time passes, his behaviour will change and surprise you!

If you are up for some creepy, mysterious, thriller game, you should pick up Hello Neighbour 2. It releases on December 6 for PC, PS5, PS4, Xbox One and Series S|X. It will also be available on Xbox Gamepass.
