CPU of Snapdragon 7+ Gen 2
Starting with the layout of the CPU, the arrangement of the core remains same as previous generation which is 1+3+4 CPU core configuration.
The main core is getting the biggest update. The primary core is now Arm’s Cortex-X2 compared to Cortex-A710 in previous 7 Gen 1. This gives CPU great performance boost specially for single threaded tasks.
Rest of the cores remain more or less same with mid-cores being 3x Cortex-A710 @ 2.36GHz with slight bump in clock speed. While efficient cores being 4x Cortex-A510@ 1.8GHz being exactly the same.
