The highly anticipated Nothing Phone 2a Plus is set to debut in global markets, including India, on July 31. Ahead of its release, the company has shared small details about the new smartphone. However, a recent leak has given us a full look at the Nothing Phone 2a Plus specifications.
Leaked Specifications of Nothing Phone 2a Plus
According to Smartprix, the Nothing Phone 2a Plus will feature three major hardware enhancements compared to the standard model. It will boast a 50-megapixel selfie camera, an improvement from the 32-megapixel camera on the Phone 2a. The 50-megapixel dual rear camera setup will remain the same.
The company has already confirmed that the Nothing Phone 2a Plus will be powered by a MediaTek Dimensity 7350 chipset and will offer up to 12GB of RAM. It will be available in two configurations: 8GB RAM with 256GB storage and 12GB RAM with 256GB storage. The smartphone will come in Black and Grey color options.

Other features include a 6.7-inch AMOLED display with a 120Hz refresh rate and an under-display fingerprint sensor, similar to the Phone 2a. The new model will also support NFC connectivity.
The leak also indicates that the Phone 2a Plus will maintain the 5,000mAh battery of its predecessor but with a slight boost in charging speed. While the Phone 2a supports 45W charging, the Plus model will reportedly offer 50W charging capability.
Nothing Phone 2a Plus Compared to Nothing Phone 2a
Nothing Phone 2a is more of a refresh rather than a successor. It gets a chipset upgrade from Dimensity 7200 Pro to the newly launched Dimensity 7350. It will be the first phone to use the Dimensity 7350 and it is expected to be faster than the Dimensity 7200 Pro.
For display, both seem to have the same 6.7-inch AMOLED display with a 120Hz refresh rate. The rear camera setup will also remain the same with a 50MP ultrawide + 50MP wide camera. However, the front camera will receive an upgrade with a 50MP camera, compared to the 32MP on the Phone 2a. (Perfectly balanced as all things should be)
The battery capacity will also remain the same although it will feature a faster 50W charging over the 45W in Phone 2a. Overall, there aren’t any major upgrades apart from a faster chipset.
