Nokia T20 released in India

Nokia’s phones already have three years of monthly security updates and two years of free operating system updates.

The tablet, for its part, takes a conventional design approach, with thick bezels all around and a single rearview camera, it has a metal housing structure and the Nokia branding can be seen on the back.

Processor and Battery

It is powered by an Octacore Unisoc T610 processor which is an 8-core chip with an 1820 MHz clock speed. Although the Unisoc T610 processor runs on 12 nm which is not very impressive nowadays where most of the processors used are on 8nm.

12 nm processors are not very power efficient compared to 8nm or 6nm chips. To compensate for the less power-efficient processor, Nokia has used a big battery of 8200 mAh capacity.

They claim that the tablet will offer long battery life thanks to its 8,200 mAh battery capacity which will provide up to 15 hours of internet surfing experience on a single charge.

The battery life with 8200 mAh could have been much better if a better processor had been used.

Storage and RAM

The Nokia T20 will come with two storage/RAM options. One with 32 GB of storage and 3 GB RAM. Another with 64 GB of storage and 4 GB RAM.

There’s also a micro SD card slot to expand storage up to 512GB.

Camera and Display

Optically, the Nokia T20 tablet has a 5 MP selfie camera for video calls, while an 8 MP camera is housed on the back. An LED flash also accompanies the rearview camera to assist you in poor lighting conditions.

Nokia T20 features a 2k display

The new Nokia T20 uses a 2K display which is really interesting since we don’t get to see this resolution in tablets that often.

In addition to the 2K display, the company is promoting OZO Immersive Audio, Nokia’s proprietary audio technology product designed specifically for smartphones to provide users with a rich audio experience.

Connectivity and Software

The Nokia T20 tablet runs on Android 11 and promises two years of operating system updates.

As for connectivity options, the Nokia T20 supports Wi-Fi 802.11 .ac, Bluetooth v5.0, USB Type C and a 3.5 mm headphone jack.

Pricing and Availability

The Nokia T20 tablet was only introduced in the country as WiFi and LTE variants.

The price of the Nokia T20 has been set at Rs. 15,499 for the WiFi-only variant in the 3 / 32GB storage option. The WiFi-only variant is also available in a 4/32 GB configuration for Rs. 16,499 On the other hand, the one with a 4/64 GB storage option with LTE costs Rs. 18,499.

The Nokia T20 is already available through Nokia.com and offline retail stores in India and will be available through Flipkart.

The company offers a variety of offers through major brands across all channels.

Some of the amazing features which will make you advantageous are its feature of Google Kids Space, a reliable kids mode that lets kids explore apps, books, and videos. The Nokia T20 should compete against the Realme Pad launched in the country in September which is coming at a similar price.
