Big focus on AI – The World’s Most Adaptive Laptop PCs

HP describes the new Spectre x360 series as the “world’s most adaptive laptop PCs,” a claim backed by their integration of a triple engine system: CPU, GPU, and a Neural Processing Unit (NPU). This approach is similar to the AI engine in latest launched AMD 8000G series APU.

The choice of Intel Core Ultra processors, with optional NVIDIA GeForce RTX 4050 Laptop GPUs, give the laptops a decent performance boost.

Key Features:

  • Excellent 9 MP webcam – A 9 MP camera with hardware-enabled low-light adjustment.
  • Automatic Performance Optimization: Tailors fan noise and temperature based on application use, laptop placement, and battery status.
  • Superpower AI Assistant: A customizable AI tool offering personalized context in text generation, operating locally via the NPU chip in the laptop for enhanced privacy.
  • Adaptive Display: A 2.8K OLED screen that adjusts refresh rate dynamically from 48 Hz to 120 Hz and dims when the user looks away to conserve battery life.
  • Security and Convenience: Features like “walk away lock” and “wake on approach” enhance security without compromising on user convenience.

HP’s Peripheral Innovations

Alongside the Spectre x360 laptops, HP also introduced an array of peripherals:

  • Poly Voyager Free 20 Wireless Earbuds: Feature hybrid ANC and intelligent noise reduction for crystal-clear audio.
  • HP 960 Ergonomic Wireless Keyboard: A split-zone layout keyboard with 20 programmable keys and sustainable design.
  • Additional peripherals like the HP 690 Rechargeable Wireless Mouse, HP 430 Programmable Wireless Keypad, and HP USB-C Travel Hub G3 underscore HP’s commitment to versatility and user-centric design.

Series 5 Displays

HP’s innovation extends to its new Series 5 Monitors, available in 24-, 27-, and 32-inch models. These displays boast a 1500:1 contrast ratio, 100Hz refresh rates, and a unifying design that promotes seamless multi-monitor setups.

Pricing and Availability

The HP Spectre x360 laptops are available now, with the 14-inch model starting at $1,499.99 and the 16-inch at $1,599.99.

The peripherals, including the Poly Voyager Free 20 wireless earbuds and HP 960 Ergonomic Wireless Keyboard, will be available later this year, with prices starting at $149.00 and $119.00 respectively.

With the unveiling of the Spectre x360 series and its peripherals, HP has joined in the latest trend of AI-integrated consumer technology space.
