Let’s just call it the gaming week because nothing major happened apart from a few big gaming related stuff. There is a tease about a new GTA game, new gaming laptops has arrived in Indian markets and Sony buys Bungie. Let’s go over them.
Sony buys Bungie, the maker of Halo and Destiny, for $3.6 billion
This news comes just after Microsoft made a big headline when they acquired Blizzard + Activision.
Bungie Studios, which developed the original Halo and their most recent hit Destiny, is now a part of the Sony family. Although they will be a separate unit and their games will not be Playstation exclusive.

GTA 6 incoming? Development is underway for the next GTA project
Many of us have graduated from college, university and working in a job since the release of GTA 5 but there was no news about the next instalment given how popular the GTA5 is, even today.
That is, until now! Although the title of the game is not confirmed officially, Rockstar Games has confirmed that the next game is already under development. There is no reason to believe that the next game wouldn’t be GTA 6.
MSI gaming laptops with the newest 12th gen Intel processors and graphics up to RTX 3080Ti have arrived in India
The next-gen Intel processors were announced at the CES 2022 and were slated to come out from OEM partners starting February 1. MSI’s lineup of 12th-gen Intel processors and new RTX 3070 Ti and RTX 3080 Ti mobile processors have arrived in India.
MSI’s gaming series which include the Stealth, Raider, Vector, Pulse and Katana series are here with new processors and RTX graphic cards.

Oppo Reno 7 5G and Reno 7 Pro 5G
The Oppo Reno 7 5G is meant to compete the likes of Mi 11X, OnePlus Nord 2 while the Pro version goes against the Samsung S20 FE and Realme GT.
Oppo Reno 7 is priced at ₹28,999 for the 8 GB + 256 GB storage variant and will be available for purchase starting February 17.
Oppo Reno 7 Pro is priced at ₹39,999 for the 12GB + 256GB variant and will go on sale starting February 8th.
