AMD has announced the release of Amuse 2.0 Beta, an AI image generation tool designed to simplify the creation of high-quality images locally on PCs. This release is part of AMD’s ongoing collaboration with TensorStack, a New Zealand-based AI technology company.
Amuse 2.0 Beta aims to address common challenges associated with AI image generation, such as complex installations and the need for advanced technical knowledge. The new version offers a straightforward installation process with no command-line interaction required, making it accessible to a broader audience.

Amuse 2.0 Beta is optimized for AMD hardware, specifically AMD Ryzen AI 300 Series processors and Radeon RX 7000 Series graphics cards. Recommended system specifications are:

Installation Process
The installation process for Amuse 2.0 Beta is designed to be user-friendly. Upon the first launch, the application auto-detects and configures the user’s device. If an AMD XDNA NPU is detected, the AMD XDNA Super Resolution feature is automatically enabled.
The “Balanced” setting is recommended for new users, providing a good mix of performance and quality.
