A leaked image hints at an exciting addition to the Galaxy lineup – Galaxy AI. This suite of AI-powered features could be a game-changer, suggesting capabilities akin to Google Bard.
Galaxy AI: Samsung embracing the AI hype
We can see from the launch invite video that Samsung is betting big on generative AI with use of the term “Galaxy AI”. All three phones will run Android 14-based One UI 6.1, featuring several new AI features already leaked.
Plus, the video star animation resembles the Google’s Gemini AI loading animation. Google Gemini AI model was recently released, it has three variants, one of which is specially designed for mobile devices called Gemini Nano.
Expected AI Features of S24 series:
- Real-time language translation during calls
- Voice-to-text for group voice recordings
- Text conversion and summarization in Samsung Notes
- Image expansion and wallpaper generation
AI features will be powered by the Exynos 2400 or Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 processors, which will be having dedicated AI chip in them.
