When Nothing Ear 1 launched in 2021, it was a very young company and their first product. Although they had a lot of features for their ₹5,999 ($99) price tag, they had a poor noise-cancelling performance. Fast forward 2 years, and Nothing has improved its earbuds.
Nothing Ear 2 Specifications
Nothing Ear 2 features a transparent dual-chamber construction similar to its predecessor. They are driven by 11.6mm drivers and each earpiece has three AI-backed microphones. The in-ear earbuds include active noise cancellation, reducing background and ambient disturbances by up to 40dB for a better listening experience.
The Nothing Ear 2 is Bluetooth 5.3 enabled and supports the new LHDC 5.0 codec. They also support the Bluetooth codecs AAC and SBC. The earpieces are dust and water-resistant to IP54 standards, while the casing is IP55.
Each earpiece has a 33mAh battery and the charging case has a 485mAh battery. With ANC switched off, the Nothing Ear 2 earbuds are supposed to have up to 36 hours of playback on a single charge. Furthermore, they are said to provide up to eight hours of playing duration on a single 10-minute charge. The earphones come with a case and offer wireless charging up to 2.5W.
TWS earbuds enable Google Quick Pair for smooth connecting with Android smartphones, which is nothing new. They also support the Quick Pair feature, which allows you to swiftly connect devices with Windows 10 computers. For the Nothing Ear 2, there is also a Low Lag Mode for gaming sessions and a specialised transparency option.

For compatible smartphones such as the Nothing Phone 1, they also provide reverse charging. The case may also be charged via the USB Type-C connection. They are 29.4×21.5×23.5mm in size and weigh 4.5 grammes.
