Asus’ ROG lineup of monitors is known for its loaded features, high refresh rate and high-quality panels. For 2024, Asus has expanded on its ROG OLED models and introduced one of the first monitors with dual-mode feature. Here is a complete breakdown of the new monitors that Asus has launched in CES 2024.
This includes the 39-inch ROG Swift OLED PG39WCDM with an 800R-curved display, the 32-inch PG32UCDP – the world’s first dual-mode gaming monitor featuring a Frame Rate Boost function and the PG27AQDP – the world’s fastest 27-inch OLED monitor.
Additionally, ROG has unveiled two accessories, the award-winning ROG Aura Monitor Light Bar ALB01 and the ROG Ergo Monitor Arm AAS01, designed to enhance any gaming setup.
ROG Swift OLED PG39WCDM Specifications
This ultrawide 39-inch monitor, with a resolution of 3440 x 1440, boasts a 240 Hz refresh rate and an 800R-curved OLED display, showcasing ROG’s commitment to pushing the boundaries of gaming display technology.
The monitor’s 1300-nit peak brightness enhances HDR experiences. Wide connectivity options include DisplayPort 1.4, HDMI 2.1, and a USB Type-C port with optional 90W USB Power Delivery.
The built-in Smart KVM enables seamless control of two devices, supporting picture-by-picture (PBP) mode for automatic source switching. Asus is planning to launch this monitor in the early 2024.

ROG Swift OLED PG32UCDP Specifications
The ROG Swift OLED PG32UCDP, dubbed as the world’s first dual-mode gaming monitor comes with a Frame Rate Boost feature, allowing users to switch between 4K 240 Hz and FHD 480 Hz modes on-the-fly.
Both the Swift monitors feature the latest third-generation ROG OLED and META technologies, this monitor achieves 30% higher peak brightness levels and up to 20% wider viewing angles compared to its predecessors.
With a peak brightness of 1300 nits and DisplayHDR True Black 400 compliance, it delivers stunningly immersive gaming visuals. The Clear Pixel Edge algorithm addresses colour fringing concerns, and exclusive features like Extreme Low Motion Blur (ELMB) technology and AMD FreeSync Premium Pro compliance ensure smooth, tear-free visuals with low latency.

The custom heatsink contributes to the display’s longevity, reducing operating temperatures and safeguarding against burn-in. The built-in Smart KVM allows seamless control of two devices, and extensive connectivity options, including DisplayPort 1.4, HDMI 2.1, and USB-C with 90 W Power Delivery, make it a versatile hub for gaming setups.
ROG Swift OLED PG32UCDM Specifications
It is a 32-inch, 4K resolution monitor with a 240 Hz refresh rate. Utilizing QD-OLED panels, this display delivers true, inky blacks and vibrant colours, enhanced by second-generation Quantum Dot OLED tech.
It offers Dolby Vision, delivering stunning visuals with a wide colour range, brightness, detail, and exceptional contrast. Ideal for HDR experiences, it supports Dolby Vision and achieves a peak brightness of 1000 nits, thanks to advanced cooling with a custom heatsink and a graphene film.
ROG Swift OLED PG27AQDP Specifications
The ROG Swift OLED PG27AQDP stands out as the world’s fastest 27-inch OLED monitor. It is a 27″ QHD monitor with a 480Hz refresh rate. Asus is marketing it as an esports enthusiast monitor for high-refresh gaming at 1440p.
It features 1300 nits of peak brightness, 99% DCI-P3 colour gamut and a host of other features like the ROG Gaming Artificial Intelligence technology, Dynamic shadow boost, Dynamic cross-hair, Variable Overdrive 2.0, and Dynamic GameVisual (in selected models). It is planned for a second half of 2024 release.

Asus ROG accessories for monitor
ROG unveiled the award-winning ROG Aura Monitor Light Bar ALB01 and ROG Ergo Monitor Arm AAS01, both recipients of the CES 2024 Innovation Award. The ROG Aura Light Bar prioritizes eye comfort with a front-light Eye Care mode and Aura Sync backlighting mode.
It allows users to adjust colour temperature and brightness, catering to personal preferences. Compatible with curved and flat monitors, it seamlessly integrates with Aura Sync-enabled setups. The ASUS DisplayWidget Center software adds advanced features like App Sync and lighting schedule presets.
The ROG Ergo Monitor Arm, designed for up to 39-inch monitors, features cyberpunk-inspired aesthetics and VESA support. With a load capacity of 3-11.5 kg for standard monitors and 3-8.5 kg for curved monitors, it offers double-sided cable management and smooth adjustments.
The mechanical spring arm mechanism supports tilting up to 75° and down to 15°, along with a full 360° pivot. The arm passed rigorous durability tests, including 10,000-cycle range-of-motion tests. Both products provide gamers with customizable and clutter-free setups.
