The Samsung Galaxy S24 FE, a highly anticipated addition to Samsung’s lineup, has been making headlines with multiple leaks ahead of its expected global launch in October.
Recent leaks have already confirmed that the Galaxy S24 FE will be powered by Exynos 2400e. The latest leaked benchmarks from Geekbench confirm the processor. Although it appears to be slightly underclocked.
Specifically, the Geekbench listing reveals that the Exynos 2400 SoC in the Galaxy S24 FE features a main Cortex-X4 core that has been underclocked from its standard 3.2 GHz down to 3.11 GHz.
The remaining cores remain unchanged, suggesting that the performance impact may not be substantial. However, the multi-core and single-core scores in the benchmark are notably lower than what one might expect from the standard Exynos 2400. This could be due to the fact it is a pre-production unit.

Exynos chip for US instead of Snapdragon
It seems that Samsung is bringing the Exynos chipset to the US market with the Galaxy S24 FE, a deviation from its usual practice of equipping high-end Galaxy devices in the US with Qualcomm’s Snapdragon processors.
The carrier-locked version of the Galaxy S24 FE, identified by model number SM-S721U, has been spotted in Geekbench’s database, confirming the presence of the Exynos 2400 chip along with 8GB of RAM.
This marks the first time in nearly a decade that Samsung has opted to use an Exynos chipset in a high-end Galaxy S series device in the US. The Exynos 2400, which debuted with the Galaxy S24 series earlier this year, is built on Samsung Foundry’s 4nm process and features a deca-core CPU configuration.
