Samsung Galaxy S24 FE Leaks Reveal its Dimensions and Support for Reverse Wireless Charing

The Fan Edition of Samsung Galaxy S24 is still not out and it is expected sometime in October. There has been a steady stream of leaks and rumors about the upcoming Samsung Galaxy S24 FE.

The latest leaks have given us some information on the dimensions of the phone and charging capabilities. The Galaxy S24 FE is expected to be larger and more robust than its predecessor, with dimensions of 162 mm x 77.3 mm. This makes it notably bigger and more squared-off than the standard Galaxy S24. For comparison, the standard Galaxy S24 is 147mm x 70.6mm, which is a lot more compact.

The Galaxy S24 FE is also a lot thicker and “squared” with 8mm thickness and much “less” curved edges, similar to the frame of the Galaxy S24 Ultra. Compared to the Samsung Galaxy S23 FE, it is taller and wider but, it is a lot thinner too.

The leak also mentions that the Galaxy S24 FE will feature Wi-Fi 6E and will support 9W reverse wireless charging.

Apart from that, we know quite a bit about the phone. The display is rumored to be a 6.7-inch OLED with a Full HD+ resolution, 120Hz refresh rate, and a peak brightness of up to 1,900 nits, providing vibrant visuals even in bright conditions.

Under the hood, the S24 FE is likely to be powered by either the Exynos 2400 or Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 chipset, depending on the region. This is a significant upgrade that could bring it closer to flagship-level performance, a departure from the more modest internals found in the previous FE models.

The device is also expected to offer 12GB of RAM and storage options ranging from 128GB to 512GB, paired with a 4,565mAh battery that supports 25W fast wired charging and 9W reverse wireless charging.
