Record iPhone 13 series pre-orders in India, festive season to boost Apple sales

Apple launched its newest lineup of products and the pre-orders were open on September 17. The newest launched iPhone 13 series saw a record number of pre-order bookings and responses just like last year when Apple launched its iPhone 12 series.

Since the festive season is coming up, industry experts have predicted that Apple iPhone 13 series will see similar sales performance like Apple iPhone 12 series during the festive quarter.

With the launch of newer iPhone models, the older models of the Apple iPhone 12 series has seen a record price drop.

Navkendar Singh, IDC India and South Asia said that Apple should see a good momentum during the festive season driven by Apple iPhone 12 series and also by iPhone 13 series.

Tarun Pathak, Director, Counterpoint Research also told that Apple is likely to post strong YoY growth in India and there has been a strong momentum going into the festive season.

Price drops are not only for iPhone 12 series, other Apple products like iPad, Apple Watch, Airpods and Mac also has seen price drops.
