Realme has introduced its latest budget-friendly 5G smartphone, the Realme C63 5G, to the Indian market on August 12. The Realme C63 5G is competitively priced in India and aims to provide a solid budget 5G phone.
Powered by the MediaTek Dimensity 6300 5G chipset, it is available with up to 8GB of RAM and 128GB of internal storage. Here is a look at the new Realme C63 5G.

Processor and performance
Under the hood, the device is powered by the MediaTek Dimensity 6300 5G chipset, paired with up to 8GB of RAM. The smartphone also supports a virtual RAM feature, allowing users to expand the RAM up to 16GB, enhancing multitasking capabilities.
Mediatek Dimensity 6300 SoC has an octa-core CPU and Mali-G57 MP2 graphics which is decent for a phone at this price. The AnTuTu 10 benchmark score for this SoC is 463047 and the Geekbench score for multi-core is 2012.
The device offers up to 128GB of internal storage, which can be expanded up to 2TB using a microSD card, providing ample space for apps, media, and files.
Camera
For taking photos, the Realme C63 5G is equipped with a 32-megapixel AI-powered main rear camera with an aperture of f/1.85, designed to capture sharp and detailed images.
On the front, there is an 8-megapixel camera for selfies and video calls. Both the front and rear cameras can shoot up to 1080p videos at 30fps. For photography, there are usual modes like portrait, panorama, night, etc.

The smartphone boasts a 6.67-inch HD+ display with a resolution of 720×1,604 pixels. The display supports a refresh rate of up to 120Hz, providing smooth visuals, and offers a peak brightness of 625 nits.
With an impressive 89.97% screen-to-body ratio and a 240Hz touch sampling rate, the display is designed for an immersive viewing experience.
Software
The Realme C63 5G operates on Android 14-based Realme UI 5.0, and the company has committed to providing three years of security updates and two years of software updates. This ensures that users can access the latest features and security patches for an extended period.
Connectivity and Battery Life
The 5,000mAh battery is one of the standout features of this smartphone, providing up to 29 days of standby time and up to 40.1 hours of talk time on a single charge.
Connectivity options for the Realme C63 5G include Wi-Fi, Bluetooth, GPS, and a USB Type-C port. The device also comes with reverse charging support, allowing it to act as a power bank for other devices.

Design
The phone measures 165.6×76.1×7.9mm and weighs 192 grams. Realme emphasises its thin design measuring 7.94mm. It has an IP64 rating to protect against dust ingress and splashes of water.
Pricing and Availability
The Realme C63 5G base model, featuring 4GB RAM and 128GB of storage, is priced at Rs. 10,999. The mid-tier variant with 6GB RAM and the top-end version with 8GB RAM, both offering 128GB of storage, is priced at Rs. 11,999 and Rs. 12,999, respectively.
The smartphone will be available in two color options: Forest Green and Starry Gold.
The first sale is scheduled to begin at noon on August 20 through Realme’s official website and Flipkart. As part of an introductory offer, customers can avail of a Rs. 1,000 discount on payments made using select bank cards, reducing the starting price to Rs. 9,999.
