Dell Announces Alienware QD-OLED Monitors with upto 360Hz refresh rate

At CES 2024, Alienware continues its tradition of pioneering display technology with the introduction of two groundbreaking QD-OLED gaming monitors. Unveiling the Alienware 32 4K QD-OLED Gaming Monitor (AW3225QF) and the Alienware 27 360 Hz QD-OLED Gaming Monitor (AW2725DF), these cutting-edge gaming displays build upon the success of the acclaimed QD-OLED family, initially showcased at CES 2022.

Alienware AW3225QF Specifications

Alienware 32 4K QD-OLED Gaming Monitor (AW3225QF) features a 4K curved QD-OLED panel designed to minimize reflection, with a peak brightness of up to 1000 nits. With a 240 Hz native refresh rate and a rapid 0.03 ms gray-to-gray response time, it caters to the demands of PC gamers and content creators, supported by Dolby Vision HDR and VESA DisplayHDR True Black 400.

For variable refresh rate, it supports the NVIDIA G-SYNC and VESA AdaptiveSync to eliminate screen tears and stutter, ensuring smooth gameplay.

The monitor’s HDMI 2.1 FRL supports 120 Hz performance on next-gen consoles at 4K resolution, boasting VRR support and auto-low latency. Activate the console mode for optimized HDR performance, and utilize eARC compatibility for Dolby Atmos speakers or soundbars without additional cables.

Alienware AW2725DF is the younger brother of the AW3225QF monitor with QHD resolution and a smaller 27-inch display (perfect!). It has a native refresh rate of 360 Hz and 0.03 ms of GTG response time. It also supports HDR with VESA DisplayHDR True Black 400.

Equipped with AMD FreeSync Premium Pro and VESA AdaptiveSync technology, the AW2725DF delivers fluid, artefact-free performance across various framerates, ensuring smooth gameplay.

Its gamer-centric design includes a fully adjustable ergonomic stand for versatile desktop configurations and a minimal hexagonal base, maximizing peripheral space. The 360-degree cooling vents optimize airflow for extended gaming sessions.

Quantum Dot OLED

Combining OLED’s superior qualities with Quantum Dot brightness, the AW3225QF and AW2725DF boast infinite contrast ratios, covering 99% and 99.3% of the DCI-P3 gamut, ensuring colour accuracy with Delta E < 2.

Dell’s ComfortView Plus, a TUV-certified solution, minimizes harmful blue light without compromising vibrant colors for prolonged gaming comfort. Additionally, both monitors offer a 3-year limited OLED burn-in hardware warranty, addressing concerns for a worry-free gaming experience.
