Today marks the official “re-release” of the Xiaomi 13 and 13 Pro, at the MWC 2023. The 13 series phones, each equipped with top-tier Snapdragon 8 Gen 2 chipsets and Leica co-branded cameras, were launched in China late last year.
Now, they will be released globally. It won’t be released in the US, but it will be in the UK, Europe, and other areas of Asia based on prior releases.
Xiaomi 13 Pro
The Xiaomi 13 Pro is powered by the Qualcomm Snapdragon 8 Gen 2 chipset paired with up to 12GB of RAM and 256GB of internal storage.
The Xiaomi 13 Pro sports a 6.78-inch 2K flexible E6 AMOLED LTPO display with a 120Hz refresh rate, peak brightness of 1900 nits, HDR10+, and Dolby Vision support.
In terms of camera, Xiaomi 13 Pro features triple Leica rear cameras, with a 50MP Sony IMX989 1-inch sensor with an f/1.9 aperture, a 50MP telephoto lens with a 3x optical zoom, and a 50MP ultra-wide-angle lens with f/2.2 aperture and a macro mode. There is a 32MP snapper on the front for selfies and video chats.
The phone packs a 4,820mAh battery that supports 120W fast charging and 50W wireless charging. There is an in-display fingerprint sensor for security, USB Type-C audio, Hi-Res audio, Stereo speakers, and Dolby Atmos.
The phone runs on Android 13-based MIUI 14 custom skin out of the box. Connectivity features include 5G, 4G, Wi-Fi 7 capabilities, NFC, Bluetooth 5.3, and a USB Type-C port for charging.
Xiaomi 13 Pro price in India
Xiaomi 13 Pro price in India is Rs 79,999 for the 12GB + 256GB storage model and comes in Ceramic White and Ceramic Black colours.
The special sale will be live on Mi.com, Mi Home, and Mi Studios. The first sale of the phone is on March 10th at 12 PM IST through Amazon, Mi.com, Mi Home, retail partners and Mi Studios.
A special early access sale is on March 6th at 12 PM IST. The first 1,000 buyers of the phone will get a chance to win an exclusive Xiaomi 13 Pro merchandise box.
