If your phone looks just like your friend’s phone, and that phone looks like your mom’s phone, and you’re tired of the endless slab parade, CMF by Nothing launched its first phone last year and was a breath of fresh air in the saturated budget segment.
CMF Phone 2 Pro continues the trend with an interesting design, colours, modularity, and has something very not-boring for you. It is a mid-range Android phone that’s trying really hard not to be just another glass sandwich.

The CMF Phone 2 Pro is powered by the MediaTek Dimensity 7300 Pro – a 4nm chip that’s faster and more efficient than last year’s model – CMF Phone 1.
Paired with 8GB of RAM (which you can virtually boost to 16GB) and up to 256GB of storage, it’ll handle your multitasking and gaming just fine. Also, there’s microSD expansion up to a 2TB.
The back of this thing is packing three lenses – 50MP main, 50MP telephoto with 2x optical zoom, and an 8MP ultra-wide. Up front, you’ve got a 16MP camera that’s ready for Zoom calls and selfie dumps. There’s also some new image processing magic called TrueLens Engine 3.0, which promises sharper photos and fewer “what happened here?” shots.
CMF Phone 2 Pro sports a 6.77-inch AMOLED display with a 120Hz refresh rate, decent brightness, and smooth performance. It’s not exactly flagship-tier, but for the price, it’s doing more than enough.
The Phone 2 Pro has interchangeable backs, screws you can actually unscrew, and continues to offer optional accessories like wallets, stands, lanyards. This time, Nothing is offering lens attachments, specifically – macro lens and fisheye lens.
The CMF Phone 2 Pro also includes the customizable Essential Key, first introduced in the Nothing Phone 3a and 3a Pro. It is a shortcut button you can assign to whatever you like, such as taking screenshots or launching the camera.
Equipped with a 5,000mAh battery, the Phone 2 Pro supports 33W wired charging and 5W reverse charging. It promises up to 47 hours of call time or 22 hours of video playback, ensuring longevity for daily use.
CMF Phone 2 Pro Pricing and Availability
Available in Black, Light Green, Orange, and White, the Phone 2 Pro emphasizes personalization. The modular design allows users to easily swap out accessories, tailoring the device to their preferences.
The CMF Phone 2 Pro starts at ₹18,999 for the 8GB/128GB version and ₹20,999 for the 8GB/256GB one. With launch offers, it might drop as low as ₹16,999. That’s serious bang for your buck.
