Surface Pro 8 details leaked. To be announced at Surface Event
Microsoft is holding its Surface event on 22 September which will showcase the highly awaited Surface Pro 8.
A recent leak from Twitter user @shadow_leak has revealed some details about the Surface Pro 8. From what looks like a retail listing, Surface Pro 8 will feature Intel 11 generation CPU which is being used in all the latest laptops.
It is also set to feature a better screen with 13 inches display and a 120 Hz display with much narrower bezels. It is also known that Surface Pro 8 will be swapping out USB-A ports for Thunderbolt and USB-C ports although t is not clear which Thunderbolt ports will it have.
Some reports are suggesting that Surface Pro 8 can come with 32 GB of RAM which can be surprising because most of the laptops in this segment stop at 16 GB of RAM. Not only that, Surface Pro 8 will be shifting to removable SSD’s like Surface Laptop 4.
The leaker has also mentioned the base price Microsoft Surface 8 will have. The starting price for Surface Pro 8 stands at $799/Rs. 59,999.
Some of the credible reports have also suggested that Surface Pro 8 will see a significant improvement in performance compared to Surface Pro 7 which was underwhelming. Much more details will be available this Wednesday when this will be revealed officially in Surface Event.
Surface Event is also expected to announce a newly designed Surface Book 4, Surface Go 3 and an updated Surface Pro X. Stay tuned to Yantragyan for more updates and Surface Event launch news.
