Samsung Galaxy S22 was launched over a year back but it is still a capable compact flagship phone. Both the Samsung Galaxy S22 and S22+ have received a price drop of ₹10,000.
Samsung S22 was priced at ₹72,999 at launch but it is now available at ₹62,999 on the official Samsung India website and Amazon. You can avail of the phone for even less with the bank and card offers up to ₹8,000 with HDFC credit/debit card.
With a max discount of ₹8000, buyers in India can now get the base Samsung S22 model for as little as Rs. 54,999. The phone is offered for sale on Amazon, the Samsung India website, and at a few local retail locations.
The phone comes in five colour options: Pink Gold, Phantom White, Phantom Black, and Bora Purple. It also comes in an 8GB RAM + 256GB storage version.

It is powered by a 4nm octa-core Snapdragon 8 Gen 1 SoC, 8GB of RAM, and as up to 256GB of internal storage. The Samsung Galaxy S22 has a 6.1-inch full-HD+ Dynamic AMOLED 2X display, a refresh rate of up to 120Hz, and Gorilla Glass Victus+ protection. The dual nano SIM smartphone comes pre-installed with One UI 4.1, which is based on Android 12.

A 50-megapixel main sensor with optical image stabilisation (OIS), a 12-megapixel sensor with an ultra-wide shooter, and a 10-megapixel sensor with a telephoto lens forms the Samsung Galaxy S22’s triple rear camera system. A 10-megapixel selfie camera sensor is housed in the centre-aligned punch-hole slot at the top of the display.
The 3,700mAh battery of the Samsung Galaxy S22 supports 25W wired and 15W wireless charging. Connectivity options include 5G, 4G LTE, Wi-Fi 6, Bluetooth v5.2, GPS/A-GPS, and USB Type-C. It has an IP68 certification for resistance to water and dust. It has an in-display fingerprint sensor for security. The Galaxy S22 is 146mm x 70.6mm x 7.6mm in dimension and weighs 168 grammes.
