HP Launches EliteBook Ultra and OmniBook X AI Laptops in India with Snapdragon X Elite Chipset

HP has launched its first Copilot+ AI laptops, the HP EliteBook Ultra and HP OmniBook X, in India. These new AI PCs are powered by the Qualcomm Snapdragon X Elite chipset, an ARM-based platform designed for high performance and AI capabilities.

The laptops leverage a dedicated Neural Processing Unit (NPU) capable of 45 trillion operations per second (TOPS), enabling demanding AI tools and services to run locally on the device.

HP EliteBook Ultra

The EliteBook Ultra features a 12-core Snapdragon X Elite X1E-78-100 chipset with a clock speed up to 3.4 GHz, paired with Qualcomm Adreno graphics, 16 GB of LPDDR5x-8400 MHz RAM, and a 1 TB PCIe Gen4 NVMe TLC M.2 SSD. It runs on Windows 11 Pro.

Display: 14-inch 2.2K (2240×1400 pixels) touchscreen with 300 nits of brightness.

Connectivity: Includes Wi-Fi 6E, Bluetooth 5.2, two USB Type-C ports, a USB Type-A port, and a headphone/microphone combo jack.

Additional Features: Dual stereo speakers, dual array microphones, a 5-megapixel IR camera, and a full-size backlit keyboard.

Battery: 59Whr battery with up to 26 hours of life, charged up to 50% in 30 minutes using a 65W USB Type-C adapter.

HP OmniBook X

Shares the same Snapdragon X Elite processor and Adreno graphics, with 16 GB of LPDDR5x-8448 MHz RAM and 1 TB PCIe Gen4 NVMe M.2 SSD. It also runs on Windows 11 Pro.

Display: 14-inch 2.2K touchscreen with Corning Gorilla Glass protection and 300 nits of brightness.

Connectivity: Supports Wi-Fi 7 and Bluetooth 5.4, with two USB Type-C ports, a USB Type-A port, and a headphone/microphone combo jack.

Additional Features: Dual speakers, a 5-megapixel IR camera, and the same AI functionalities as the EliteBook Ultra.

Battery: 59Whr battery offering up to 26 hours of battery life.
