Samsung Tab S9 unveiled with Snapdragon 8 Gen 2 and massive display

Samsung has just announced the Galaxy Tab S9 series, the next generation of premium tablets that set new standards for immersive viewing and creative freedom. The Tab S9 series features a Dynamic AMOLED 2X display, the powerful Qualcomm Snapdragon® 8 Gen 2 for Galaxy processor, and an in-box, IP68-rated S Pen.

Specifications

The Tab S9 series comes in three models: the Tab S9, the Tab S9+, and the Tab S9 Ultra. The Tab S9 and Tab S9+ have 11.6-inch and 12.4-inch displays, respectively, while the Tab S9 Ultra has a massive 14.6-inch collection. All three models have a 120Hz refresh rate for smooth and fluid visuals.

The Tab S9 series is powered by the Snapdragon® 8 Gen 2 for Galaxy processor, one of the most powerful mobile processors on the market. This processor ensures that the Tab S9 series can handle even the most demanding tasks, such as gaming, video editing, and multitasking.

The Tab S9 series will feature RAM of up to 16GB and storage of up to 1TB with microSD support of up to 1TB. The Tab S9 will have two variants with 8GB RAM + 128GB storage and 12GB + 256GB.

The Tab S9+ will have two variants, both with 12GB RAM and 256GB/512GB storage options. The Tab S9 Ultra will have three variants: 12GB + 256GB, 12GB + 512GB, and 16GB + 1TB.

The Tab S9 will have an 8400mAh battery, Tab S9+ will have a 10,090mAh battery, and the Table S9 Ultra will feature an 11,200 mAh battery.

The Tab S9 series also comes with an in-box, IP68-rated S Pen. The S Pen is a versatile tool that can be used for note-taking, drawing, and editing. The S Pen is also water-resistant, so you can use it outdoors without worrying about damaging it.

Productivity features

The Tab S9 series comes with a number of productivity and creativity apps, including GoodNotes, LumaFusion, Clip Studio Paint, and ArcSite. These apps can be used to create notes, edit videos, draw and paint, and create CAD blueprints.

The Tab S9 series also supports DeX Mode, which allows you to use the tablet like a desktop computer. This is perfect for working on documents, presentations, or spreadsheets.

In addition to the S Pen and the productivity apps, the Tab S9 series also has a number of other features that make it a powerful and versatile tablet. These features include:

• Multi Window: This allows you to run up to three apps at the same time, each in its own window. This is perfect for multitasking or for working on multiple projects at once.
• Pop-Up View: This allows you to view an app as a floating window while you’re using another app. This is perfect for keeping track of multiple tasks or for quickly checking something without having to switch apps.
• Book Cover Keyboard: This keyboard case gives you a more traditional laptop-like experience when using the Tab S9 series. The keyboard is backlit and has adjustable angles, so you can find the perfect typing position.
• DeX Mode: This mode allows you to use the Tab S9 series like a desktop computer. You can run desktop apps, use a mouse and keyboard, and even connect an external monitor.

Availability

The Galaxy Tab S9 series is available for pre-order starting July 26th in select markets. The series comes in two colors, Beige and Graphite, and three sizes: 14.6-inch, 12.4-inch, and 11-inch.

The tablets are protected by four generations of One UI and Android OS upgrades and by five years of security updates. Samsung Care+, a support service for accidental damages, offers special discounts and free benefits during pre-order periods.
