Live images of the Google Pixel 8 Pro have been leaked by some guy on Reddit. God bless his soul for breaking NDA. However, the leaked photo was deleted as the leaker didn’t do a good job hiding the location or his face! The leaked photo is from a phone sent for testing by Google’s device team.
The leaked images validate some of the earlier leaks and rumors and provide a closer look at the device’s design. The images show that the Pixel 8 Pro will have a unique patterned design on the back, instead of the traditional “G” logo found on previous Pixel phones. The rear camera module is also unified into a pill-shaped form factor, and it houses three cameras, a microphone, an LED flash, and an IR thermometer sensor.

The text “Zuma” on the back refers to the Tensor G3 chip, which will power the Pixel 8 Pro. This custom chip, developed by Google, is expected to enhance performance and efficiency.
The bootloader screen also reveals that the Pixel 8 Pro will be equipped with 12GB of Samsung LPDDR5 RAM and 128GB of SK Hynix storage. The device’s camera configuration is said to feature a 50MP primary sensor, a 64MP ultra-wide camera, and a telephoto lens capable of 5x zoom.
