Google’s upcoming budget-friendly smartphone, the Pixel 8a, is expected to be unveiled at the company’s annual Google I/O 2024 event next month. Leaks suggest the Pixel 8a might see a slight price increase compared to its predecessor.

A Canadian retailer listing suggests the Pixel 8a could start at CAD 708.99 (around Rs. 42,830) for the 128GB variant, with the 256GB model costing CAD 792.99 (roughly Rs. 47,900). In India, the Pixel 8a is expected to be priced between Rs. 1,000 to Rs. 2,000 more than its predecessor, the Pixel 7a, which launched at Rs. 43,999.
