Bharat Sanchar Nigam Limited (BSNL)- In order to sustain the diminishing business of bsnl landlines, the government is continuously fighting an uphill battle. As technology is becoming more handy and providing mobility, it is taking away the attention from the use of old fashion landline phones. Though, it is doubtless that smartphones are much more than just a calling-phone. The features and numerous helpful uses of a smartphone can just not be explained in an article of a single page rather there is no need also.

In order to compensate all that features above calling, BSNL has already been provding the “Night Hour Scheme” from a year back wherein there is free calling to any network’s mobiles and landlines between 9pm to 7am every day.

But now, its much more than that and just cannot be ignored. “Bharat Sanchar Nigam Limited (BSNL) has announced free unlimited calling to any network’s mobiles and landlines on all India basis, on all the Sundays with effect from Aug 15th, 2016 “.

“With this circular, BSNL also launched promotional offer for new landline customers for a period of 90 days with effect from August 15. The customers who get a new landline in the 90 day period starting from August 15 will only have to pay a fixed monthly charge of Rs 49 and the installation charges will be free. The additional facility of free night calling (local and STD) will also be available for them,” said KS Rana, AGM (sales), Meerut.

Government says- “The business of landlines is on a low because people these days prefer cellphones over landlines. This initiative is meant to attract more customers towards BSNL.”
